PARENTS SELMA AND DROGO, both AKC CHAMPIONS

Our beautiful Selma, probably our most expressive girl, is expecting a litter end of March  with homebred champion Drogo,  a big lover of a dog. Selma is our fourth generation girl from our careful breeding and showing program. She is a great grandaughter of our girl Nayobi, our most favorite girl!  Selma comes from a long line of athletic yet easy to live with girls, aiming to please and excelling in obedience and overall great family addition. She is naturally polite, she never enters the house without me going first and is loyal, just wants to be a close companion. We combined this wonderful working temperatment with our laid back and loving DROGO, our biggest boy.

Selma has a dark mask and weighs about 80 pounds, Drogo is a very deep red with a  mask, and weighs 120# in show condition, tall (30 inches at withers) and muscular; we are expecting a range of colours and masks on this litter.  Gorgeous pups for sure, here is a past Drogo litter and the next two pics are of her own puppies. This is a repeat pairing,  combining his size and laid back temperament, and her intensity in pleasing and expressive nature. We might also have some liver noses to look forward to as their both carry the recessive gene, so much to look forwar to!

Puppies will be ready mid May with their health certificate, vet visit/exam and first set of vaccines.

Hopper and "HER" babies!

HOPPER is our two year old Frenchie that we bred from parents we imported from France. While I feel Ridgebacks are the ideal breed, my husband has a penchant for the farting, burping, snoring sort! Hence, we breed a litter every two years or so. They are ten times more work than ANY Ridgeback litter! BUT, they make for humorous companions and great playmatesfor our Ridgies! Hopper is spayed but has incredible motherhood drive, she stands guard and waits for Selma to go sunning, and she cries until she is allowed to go visit the pups!  She grooms them and makes sure all is in order, without touching Selma's treats or antler!
